Terms of Service

By creating an account or buying a number on SMSVault you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The service

SMSVault provides short-term access to phone numbers for receiving SMS messages, typically one-time verification codes. Numbers are shared resources and are assigned to you only for the duration of an order.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login and API key confidential and for all activity on your account. You must be at least 18 years old.

3. Acceptable use

You may only use the service for the purposes described in our Authorized Uses policy. We may suspend accounts that break it without refund of remaining balance where required by law.

4. Balance and payments

Funds added to your balance are prepaid credit for purchasing numbers. Refunds for undelivered SMS are described in our Refund Policy.

5. No guarantee of acceptance

Third-party services decide on their own which numbers to accept. We cannot guarantee a specific service will send a code to a given number.

6. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected order.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new version.
